My name is Lisa Bunschoten and I’m a Paralympic snowboarder. I grew up in Utrecht and currently live in Arnhem, the Netherlands. I started snowboarding when I was 14 years old and I did my first race at the age of 16. In 2014 I participated at the Paralympic Games in Sochi where I got seventh. In 2018 I got two medals (one silver and one bronze) at the Games in Korea! In March 2019 I reached a big goal, I became double World Champion in the categories Snowboardcross and Banked Slalom. Right now my focus is on the next World championship in 2021 and the next Paralympic Games in Bejing in 2022.
